We can be glorified with Christ and become like him.

So this week was good. we worked hard and we had some more success. we are working hard with a few people to be able to help them out.

We are teaching a man named Edwardo. we explained to him how the Book of Mormon teaches us how we can get peace in this life and eternal life in the world to come. We asked him what keeps him from peace in this life. He had a lot of reasons. He said he had even gone to a psychologist and that that didn't help him. Well we are here for free all you have to do is read and apply what it says there in the book. You have to come to church to understand better and you need to pray because you can't know spiritual truth without prayer.

We will see how much he applies that.

We are also teaching a man named Ivan who talked to missionaries 15 or so years ago. he has a book of mormon in english and Spanish and he teaches english. He was able to come to church Sunday as well. We were excited for him. We are hoping the Gospel can fill some of the holes in his understanding.

We also have a recent convert who moved back where he lived before with his gay partner we don't know the entire situation but he is living in his old place. pray for Santiago. We are going to do all we can to help him.

We are also working with a family named Rios (like rivers in english). The man is coming back to church. the wife doesn't come much to church and the granddaughter that isn't baptized. but they are all very nice people and we are doing all we can to help them come back to activity in the church and help the granddaughter get baptized as well.

This week I learned better what impact Christ's sacrifice had on us. It can rescue us from hell and the grave and can help us achieve much more. it is not just about going to a paradise like there is in the spirit world. it is much more than that. Paul testified to the saints in Rome

'16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.' Romans 8

We can be glorified with Christ and become like him. we can do it through his sacrifice only. What a glorious promise. all we must do is repent and be baptized in his name and endure faithfully to the end.
